C 6100 Evaporator
Chlorine evaporator with hot water bath — up to 220 kg/h
In plants with high chlorine consumption, withdrawal from the gas phase is insufficient; chlorine is then withdrawn in the liquid phase and gasified in an evaporator. The C 6100 chlorine evaporator offers an evaporation capacity of up to 220 kg Cl₂/h.
It uses an evaporation coil design with water as the heating medium. The hot water tank and evaporation coil are made of seamless pressure tank steel, and the water is heated electrically using immersion heaters. Temperature, pressure and fill level are monitored by sensors and shown on visual indicators. Cathodic anti-corrosion protection is fitted, and the unit fulfils all criteria of the declaration of conformity according to pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC.
