Pressurized manifold for chlorine cylinder/drum batteries
The pressurized manifold connects several chlorine cylinders or drums to a single line. In high-capacity plants, withdrawing chlorine from one container causes icing, so the withdrawal is distributed over several containers.
The manifold consists of coated plain steel piping, galvanically coated copper flexible connection lines and auxiliary and corner valves made of bronze, Monel and PTFE. It can carry up to 2600 kg/h of liquid chlorine or 400 kg/h of chlorine gas.
