Mobile dosing systems for emergency chlorination
Mobile dosing systems are portable units that provide chemical dosing where a fixed installation is not possible or economical. Typical uses are emergency chlorination of drinking water networks, commissioning of newly laid mains, disinfection after repairs and temporary plant operation.
The SAFETYCHLORMIX-based mobile unit prepares hypochlorite solution dust-free from calcium hypochlorite granulate and feeds it into the water with a MAGDOS series dosing pump. Depending on pump capacity it provides 18 – 650 g/h of active chlorine at a solution concentration of approximately 50 g/l. The unit has IP65 protection and runs on 230 V AC.
