Suction pressure regulator (SDR)
The suction pressure regulator limits the pressure on the suction side of a dosing pump. When the chemical tank is located above the pump or the suction line is pressurised, the resulting positive suction pressure can cause free flow through the pump and an uncontrolled increase in dosing.
The regulator holds the suction pressure at the set value, eliminating this risk and preserving dosing accuracy. It is made of chemically resistant materials and installed in the suction line ahead of the pump inlet.
