Dosing head ventilation continuously vents the air and gas that accumulates in the dosing head. In low-capacity pumps, gas in the head stops the pump dosing or reduces its accuracy — a common problem with outgassing chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide.

The ventilation device routes a small flow from the head back to the chemical tank through a return hose, so the head always stays filled with liquid and manual venting is no longer needed.
