Duplex KARDOS KN piston dosing pump with two opposed heads
The KARDOS ZKN is the duplex version of the KARDOS KN piston dosing pump: a single motor and gearbox drives two dosing heads which, in the standard version, are arranged opposite each other. Heads from KN 10 to KN 1460 can be combined as required; with different head sizes, the larger head is located on the left side. The stroke length of each head is independently adjustable from 0 to 100%, while a speed change of the main drive acts on both heads and keeps the dosing ratio unchanged.
This makes the pump well suited to dosing two components at a fixed, process-proportional ratio. The manufacturer's example specifies a centrally driven ZKN 45/210 to dose dispersant and polymer at a fixed 1:5 ratio proportional to paper machine speed. Drive, housing and head options are the same as for the KARDOS KN.
