C 2213 Vacuum Regulator
Chlorine gas vacuum regulator — up to 10 kg/h
In gas installations, the danger arising from a leaked medium can be significantly reduced by running the lines under vacuum: a leak in a line under vacuum leads to an immediate stop in the flow. The C 2213 automatic vacuum regulator fulfils this safety function. It is connected directly to chlorine cylinders or lines under pressure and only releases the gas into the line system under vacuum.
At the transition between positive pressure in the gas container and the vacuum in the line, the C 2213 closes automatically when the vacuum in the line is lost. It works without auxiliary power and therefore responds without delay to a pressure drop in the line system. A flow limiter prevents the gas container from freezing due to excessive withdrawal, and the residual pressure device closes when the cylinder empties, preventing humid air from entering and causing corrosion.
Functions
- Residual pressure preservation: prevents complete evacuation of the cylinder and corrosion caused by humidity in the entering air
- Filter: protects the valves against dirt particles from the cylinder or connection area
- Cylinder pressure gauge: displays the pressure inside the chlorine tank
- Simultaneous delivery: uniform chlorine withdrawal from several cylinders in battery operation
- Flow limiter: prevents icing of the cylinders caused by an excessive withdrawal rate
- Optional safety blow-off valve (PLUS version with electrical signal)
